VITCAS Ceramic Fibre Insulating Board. Resistant to 1430°C / 2600°F. Density 300kg/m3 Ceramic Fibre Board are manufactured by vacuum forming which results in a more resilient product compared with ceramic fibre blanket.
Often used in ceramic kilns, for glass slumping, in forges and afterburners. The advantage is that the material will withstand a high temperature (1430°C) but with a low thermal mass so that heating and cooling process times can be much quicker than with dense bricks for example.
