Fibreglass Sewing Thread with PTFE Coating is resistant to higher temperatures reaching 600oC / 1110oF. The glass fibre sewing thread is resistant to most harmful, corrosive acids and alkalis. The fiberglass is also very high strength which means that it has a minimal risk of breaking, kinking or stripping back like other heat proof threads do. The flexibility of the PTFE coating makes it ideal for many industrial applications such as sewing safety wear, etc.
