Surface Preparation: Before applying Vitcas Mouldable Firebrick, ensure that all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and free from any dust or grease. This will ensure proper adhesion and maximize the effectiveness of the product.

Application Process:

• Invert the tub and empty the contents onto a clean surface.
• Take lumps of Vitcas Mouldable Firebrick and tamp them into position using a mallet or hammer. Apply firm pressure to achieve maximum consolidation.
• Repeat the process until the desired contour of the firebrick is achieved and further consolidation cannot be obtained.
• For additional support during the application, you can use a temporary support former, such as a piece of wood or hardboard, to contain the Vitcas Mouldable Firebrick.

Trimming Excess Material: If there is any excess material protruding, it can be trimmed back using a knife. However, avoid smoothing the surface or using a wet trowel, as this may affect the performance of the product.

Drying Process:

• Allow Vitcas Mouldable Firebrick to dry overnight.
• Afterward, apply gentle heat for 8 to 10 hours to thoroughly dry the material. This gradual drying process helps prevent cracking and ensures optimal performance.
• Once the initial drying period is complete, gradually increase the temperature to the maximum level recommended for your heating appliance.
